ANN HARDING BATTIN

I became a lawyer after realizing that it would be the best way for me to use my talents and skills. After working in professional theatre and film in New York, for Home Box Office and other companies, it became clear to me that many of the people that I came in contact with simply needed guidance to achieve better results in business and personal matters.

Home ownership is key to most people’s financial success and for many years, I was also a licensed Real Estate broker in conjunction with my law practice. Understanding real property matters, which include title, escrow, purchase and sale agreements, leases, and disclosures and compliance with the many related laws is critical to not only achieving a goal but also to avoiding trouble.

I am a past president of the Pinole Chamber of Commerce and, while my children were school age, an adult Scouter.  My son achieved his Eagle rank in 2013 and my daughter, a Silver award recipient, was awarded a life membership in Girl Scouts.
